Robert Frost once said, "I am not a teacher, but an awakener."
These words have always spoken to me on an innate level. Education today is not what it was ten years ago. It is clear that the
ethos of modern education need a radical change. I have seen education and educators evolve to match pace with the changing times.
Over the years, I have realised that outstanding teachers do not possess special
skills, but rather inspire their students and give them enough space to become the best version of themselves.
The standard approach to education has been to grade and try to fit them into boxes. Recent years have seen a shift from this methodology.
At APS Akhnoor, we realise that there is no ‘one-size fits all’ mould. Every day, we try to change the rules of the game - if our school
is filled with students who are shaped like circles, stars and hearts, we have to build circle, star and heart shaped holes.....
